The Jotunheim is an elongated ship designed to explore the depths of deep space. The blades coming out from the hull are energy fins.

I made it solar panel-ish at first, but he likes it this way so it's a beam like thruster ;d

I really liked his solar fin design too! :3 Although to stay true to my original design document, and so it matches much better with the race's technology, the thrusters are like beams that have a repulsor like power, so they can be used to turn the ship or slowly lift off the ground before the main engines kick in ^^. Perhaps the solar sails may make an appearance somewhere else tho ^^;.

Looks good but are those thrusters or wings? The curvature resembles feathers.
