Spec Ops Pilot 1 by MeganeRid Spec Ops Pilot 1 by MeganeRid
Lowres version of the highres model I did sometime ago, real time rendered with marmoset. Around 13k tris. one 2k texture for the whole thing excluding the gun. Overdid the wears on some parts so I'll probably change the texture a bit and also do separate renders for the gun and rifle later.

Hope you like!

Highres done in Zbrush, lowres in maya and zbrush, texture in photoshop

Love the design and grit. The fact that this rendered in Marmoset at 13k tris is outstanding as well.
If I may inject slight insight as a professional warfighter. Pilots tend to show wear mostly around the ankle, quadricep, wrist, and trapezoid areas typically due to gear and cockpit layout. If you're going to differentiate the various materials of the suit, they would be a good thing to consider. Especially if he's a badass veteran pilot. Also the pistol would normally be located somewhere accessible but out of the way and the knife would most likely be very accessible at the side or thigh. That way if he had to emergency egress he could cut the harness and get out quickly.
Just creative food for thought. Love the model and I am totally a sucker for the near futuristic "space" Marine designs.
