It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

I prolly won't have time to do full blown colored artworks (you can ask for color, if I can I may do it)

Anyhoo, these are my commission rates

Character lineart : $40 +- , can be more or less depending on the complexity/details, I prefer to draw females more than males btw ;d ,

Mecha/scifi lineart : $80 +- , can be more or less depending on the complexity/details,

Simple portrait/bust digital painting : $50 + , can be more or less depending on the complexity/details,

I'll do a prelim sketch/drawing and let you check if you wanna change anything, then I'll continue and finish it, I can still change some minor bits then, but no more major changes

I retain the copyright of the artwok I did, can use it on my portfolio, and can post it on DA, unless agreed otherwise.

I keep the original artwork, I'll send you the high resolution jpeg/png/tif once the payment is made.

How much would your commission rates increase for indie games? It's kind of difficult when you don't know how much your game will actually make, especially when you're new in the business. I'm not actually at the stage yet where I'm making ambitious games, so it might be a while until I request any commission work. Just curious. Greets.

I have a 1972 Dodge Dart that I have bought that I am looking to rebuild. My problem is that I have some ideas but I am not an artist an I want a 3D representation of what I am looking for before I start. If this is something you would consider, I can provide you with pictures of the car via email, as well as pictures of what I am trying to do. For example, the color scheme, the tires, the rims ect. Hello,

I'm looking to commission some setting concept art (with commercial permissions). It would be used as interior art in a book that I recently KickStarted, so I would be looking just for lineart--no coloring, and probably no shading.

What would your rates be? If possible, I'd like to purchase all rights to the image (so that I could sell them as poster prints, etc.), which I understand may affect the price.

Examples of what I might want:
A lonely house in a clearing (amid a bamboo-ish forest)
A lake with a sandy shore
Rows and rows of houses
The interior of a house (there's a sketch on qol-press.tumblr.com )
And/or maybe some places with indistinct people, depending on how much that affects prices

You were recommended to me by another user that I might commission, and I love what I saw in your lineart gallery. Let me know if you need any further information.
